RuPay-JCB Credit Cardholders Get 25 % Cashback on International In-Store Spends

The RuPay network, in partnership with JCB International, has launched a limited-time offer for eligible JCB-branded RuPay credit (and debit) cards: cardholders can earn 25 % cashback on in-store Point-of-Sale (POS) purchases made abroad in select countries. Key features: Valid in destinations including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea, Sri Lanka. No minimum transaction amount required, but you must complete at least 2 transactions abroad to qualify. Cashback is capped at ₹1,500 per transaction, and the total maximum eligible cashback per card during the campaign is ₹15,000. The offer is targeted at making overseas purchases more rewarding for Indian travellers and bolstering the RuPay + JCB global acceptance proposition. Analysts say this offer provides a strong incentive for Indian-cardholders travelling overseas to use RuPay-JCB cards instead of defaulting to other international networks.
