Airtel Axis Credit Card Boosts Utility Bill Cashback to 7.76%

Axis Bank and Bharti Airtel have enhanced the benefits of their co-branded Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, increasing the effective cashback on utility bill payments to 7.76%. The boost comes as part of an updated rewards structure aimed at encouraging users to handle recurring bill payments through the Airtel Thanks App. Cardholders can now earn accelerated cashback on spends such as electricity, gas, DTH, water, and broadband bills, provided the transactions are made via Airtel’s platform. The total cashback is credited directly to the card account, offering real monetary value rather than reward points. Beyond this update, the card continues to offer 4% cashback on Airtel services, 2% on grocery and dining spends, and 1% on all other eligible transactions. The move positions the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card as one of the most rewarding options for customers who manage multiple utility payments digitally. The revised structure applies automatically to existing and new cardholders, with no additional enrollment required.
